Country pub charm with cosy hotel comfort.
A proper country pub with rooms. Well-kept beer, warm welcome, honest food.
Since 1888
Country pub heart, boutique hotel comfort.
Set in Sulby on the Isle of Man—right on the TT course—The Ginger Hall is, at heart, a proper country pub with rooms. Step in to the bar and you’ll find the good stuff done right: well-kept beer, friendly chat, dogs welcome, and that easy mix of locals, riders and wanderers that makes a pub feel like home.
The kitchen keeps to the same spirit. Head Chef Willem Folscher cooks seasonal, island-first plates—pub favourites sharpened with craft, changing specials with the seasons, roasts worth planning around, and puddings you’ll want to share (or not). Come for a pint and a plate after a walk, settle in for supper with friends, or make race week your tradition.
Upstairs, our freshly renovated rooms keep things simple: comfy beds, hot showers and a hearty breakfast downstairs. Whether you’re dropping by for one, staying the night, or making a weekend of it, The Ginger Hall is the easy choice—warm welcome, good beer, honest food.

One of the best Sunday Roasts I've had period and the best sit down meal Ive had on the Isle of Man. Ten pound for a "standard" roast. Value for money is incredible. Huge portion for a standard serving. Loads of meat. Massive yorkshire. Gravy was delicious. Only gripe would have been a tad more cauli cheese. Lol More than enough though to fill a hardy hungry Scotsman.
Amazing location for the TT and any other road events on the Island. Has rooms. Pool table. Live sky sports and a great selection of alcohol on tap. Proper sun trap in the massive beer garden.
Keep me a Large T shirt for when I'm next over please 🙂

Spent 4 days on the Isle of Man with family (Group size 8) staying at The Ginger hall. We cannot praise it enough. The food is amazing. Portion sizes were so generous! Unlike what you’d find back in England for the same price. Owners and staff were very welcoming. We felt relaxed and comfortable. Spending down time on the darts and pool tables after a long day exploring on the buses which can be caught from right outside the car park. Would love to stay here again!

Just back from the Isle of Man Classic TT where we stayed at the Ginger Hall. We were four pension age motorcyclists and were made extremely welcome by the proprietors Mark and Anya and all of their staff. We have stayed a number of times previously prior to them taking over, but they have much improved the offering, with upgraded rooms and a delicious menu in for the bar and the restaurant. They also have an excellent selection of real ales which we enjoyed. Our room rate was very competitive for TT week and included a good breakfast and we would strongly recommend the Ginger Hall for a relaxed stay on the Isle of Man.
